Executive Director, Neighborhood Bike Works

Neighborhood Bike Works, a 501 (c)(3) not for profit organization that supports urban youth from under served neighborhoods in the  Philadelphia region, is seeking a full time Executive Director to manage its programs that are run out of five locations in and around the city.

This is a unique opportunity to help enrich the lives of youth in the Philadelphia region as well as their communities.

The requirements are:

*     College degree required
*     Significant experience in operations in a business, nonprofit or educational setting
*     Substantial fund-raising experience
*     Experience in leading an organization through a strategic planning process
*     Demonstrated experience with social media, direct mail, grant development, planned giving and  events
*     Excellent writing and public speaking skills
*     Good interpersonal, press and public relations skills/experience
*     Ability to understand and articulate issues affecting urban youth
*     Computer and accounting skills
*     An appreciation for cycling and the opportunities it can bring to youth from all socio-economic backgrounds
*     Ability to lead and manage staff, delegate, prioritize

Classification: Full Time Exempt, 40 hours, plus Health Insurance

Reports to:  NBW Board of Directors
