Cradles to Crayons – VISTA positions.

Cradles to Crayons, which provides new or gently used goods for needy children ages 0-12, is seeking to fill three VISTA- AmeriCorps positions including a Product Collection and Service Learning Coordinator, a Partner Coordinator and a Volunteer Coordinator.

The Product Collection and Service Learning Coordinator will help increase the recognition of Cradles to Crayons Philadelphia and enhance community outreach efforts along with the Youth Leadership program. The Partner Coordinator will work with non-profit agencies that distribute items to needy children and the Volunteer Coordinator will work with individuals, families and other groups who volunteer at the organization’s warehouse.

All three positions are expected to serve for one year.  They will be paid a stipend at the end of service and given monthly rent assistance. Although not high paying, these positions offer great returns in the areas of experience, networking opportunities and most of all the accomplishment of service.
