Truancy Reduction Forum

The Mayor’s Office Education, the Department of Human Services and Family Court will sponsor a Truancy Reduction Forum on Monday, September 29th. The forum will present an opportunity to engage with stakeholders throughout the city; make recommendations to the City, School District and Family Court on improving educational outcomes for youth; identify emerging practices; evaluate current progress and status; envision a full-scale truancy system; and propose recommendations for prevention, intervention and beyond.
