Speaking for Ourselves conference draws people with disabilities
This year’s Speaking for Ourselves annual conference – Voices & Choices, Bring It Together! – will take place on Friday, June 17th at the Sheraton Harrisburg- Hershey hotel in Harrisburg.
This year’s keynote speaker is Nancy Thaler, Executive Director of the National Association of State Directors of Developmental Disabilities Services.
The conference features workshops on Support Coordination Agencies, Assistive Technology: What Is It and How Do I Pay for It?, Works for Me, My Travels, My Life, Advocate with Our Government, and Being a Boss: Tips for Recruiting, Selecting, and Supervising Your Staff.
