2011 Veteran Internship Initiative
WHEN – MAY 2011 to SEP 2011
The goal of this initiative is to help match student veterans with internship opportunities and to be the conduit for companies/organizations who are seeking student veterans in Southeastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey and Northern Delaware.
HERE ARE SOME QUALITIES; STUDENT VETERANS CAN BRING TO YOUR COMPANY/ ORGANIZATION:
Mission Focused / Accelerated Learning Curve / Flexibility / Comfortable with Rules and Structure / Performs Well Under Pressure

The Greater Philadelphia Veterans Network’s primary mission is to provide pre-employment education services, ‘hands on’ mentors and to share potential job leads to transitioning military service members and local veterans. We also offer Veteran Entrepreneurship, Hiring Veterans Workshops for local companies and Vet to Vet Volunteering.
