Communities gear up to celebrate National Summer Learning Day
The National Summer Learning Association’s 2011 Summer Learning Day will take place on Tuesday, June 21st.
The national advocacy day provides an opportunity for communities to showcase their summer learning programs and advocate for the importance of summer learning. While the official date is June 21st, supporters also host events during that week and at other times over the summer.
To help participants prepare their events, the Association is offering an archived webinar series. Each webinar, the first of which is May 5, looks at the planning process and offers suggestions. For more information, go here.
