2011 Community Schools National Awards for Excellence!
The Coalition for Community Schools is now accepting applications for exemplary community schools and initiatives from across the country! A panel of judges will select three schools and up to two initiatives will be recognized. Each winning school will receive a $1,000 award, and each winning initiative will receive $2,500.
To apply, fill out the interactive PDF for your community school or initiative and email your completed application and any questions to ccs@iel.org. Hard copies of applications WILL NOT be accepted. Click here for more information and guidelines.

Timeline:
* All applications are due by COB (Eastern time) March 25, 2011.
* Award recipients will be notified by May 6th.
* An awards ceremony will be held on Capitol Hill on June 8th during the Coalition’s National Community Schools Advocacy Day.
