CHANCES, a program of the Public Health Management Corporation, has an opening for a full-time therapist. Located in Center City Philadelphia, CHANCES provides intensive outpatient (IOP) and outpatient services to chemically dependent women with children. This dynamic program provides a comprehensive range of therapeutic, educational and support services for women including on-site child care. Therapist will report to the CHANCES Clinical Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conduct individual and group therapy;
• Work closely with clinical team to coordinate and manage clinical issues;
• Develop and update treatment plans;
• Maintain client charts that meet all state, local, and program guidelines;
• Participate in at least 25 hours of training each year to promote professional development.

SKILLS:
• Excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Ability to function in a professional manner,
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and clear professional boundaries;
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently as well as collaboratively with interdisciplinary team;
• Sensitivity to issues of diversity

EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum of two years clinical experience conducting individual and group therapy;
• Experience in substance abuse and mental health treatment/issues

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Master’s degree in social work, counseling or related field preferred

Salary:
Pay Grade 17
