Job Title: Membership Intern
Expected Commitment: 15-20 hours per week, February – May 2011

Description:

The Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia is looking for an intern to support our Membership Services. SBN is a membership organization of over 500 local businesses committed to a triple bottom line of people, planet and profit.

Reports to:
Membership Associate

Basic responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Processing of new and expiring members, including data entry

* Mailing renewal invoices
* Recruitment calls to expiring members
* Representing SBN at outreach events
* Assisting in the distribution of the 2011 Members Directory
* Assisting with website updates through our Content Management System
* Other duties as assigned

Desired skills:

* Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
* Database experience strongly preferred
* Good customer service skills
* Commitment to SBN’s mission
* Team player/self-starter
