Making Good Food Work

We are excited to announce an upcoming working conference and incubation laboratory to develop innovative solutions and document best practices for distributing local and regional food.

This conference features a unique and powerful format in which conference participants will form teams around pre-selected projects and distribution issue areas. Over the course of the conference, each team will work together to help build actual businesses, solve existing business challenges, develop research projects, and identify best practices to help tackle the challenge of local and regional food distribution logistics, infrastructure, and transportation, including tackling these issues in underserved communities.

Conference participants will learn from one another and from experts and leave with business and action plans, a stronger network of knowledgeable colleagues, and maybe some seed funds to help you along the way for your next phase!

This national event will be held at the Atheneum Hotel in downtown Detroit, April 19-21, 2011. Participation is limited to 250 attendees, so be sure to register early!
