Cheyney U forum focuses on crisis facing nonprofits
Cheyney University’s Masters in Public Administration program will kick off a series of public forums in 2011 with Nonprofits in Crisis: What Does the Future Hold?, on Thursday, February 17th at United Way, 1709 Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia.
The event begins with a reception at 5pm, followed by presentations from Sharmain Matlock-Turner, President and CEO of the Urban Affairs Coalition of Greater Philadelphia, and Sandra Dungee-Glenn, President of the American Cities Foundation and former chairperson of the Philadelphia School Reform Commission.
After their talks, Martin Johnson, CEO of Isles, Inc., a nonprofit community development and environmental agency in Trenton, and students from the Cheyney MPA program will respond, and engage in a dialogue with participants in the audience.
Information on enrolling in the MPA program will also be available.
