Ethics in Fundraising

Webinar focuses on ethics in fundraising
During the fundraising process, nonprofit organizations gather considerable personal information that is amalgamated, stored and applied through the various stages of donor development. Many, both inside and outside the fundraising community, are concerned about the ethical implications of the gathering and use of personal information by fundraisers.
The Chronicle of Philanthropy will sponsor an online workshop to discuss questions such as the primary ethical standards that apply to fundraising work, real-world ethical and information security scenarios, and the advent of social media and the special ethical challenges in how this form of communication has changed the way fundraisers interact with prospects and donors.
The webinar will be held on Thursday, December 9th at 2pm. To participate, go here.
