Financial Aid Training for the College Access Professional

PHEAA and the PA Association of Student Financial Administrators have agreed to provide a full day professional development for college access professionals on December 8th as a pilot initiative. This training will resemble their Financial Aid Training for beginning financial aid administrators. It will be a full scale training inclusive of understanding the financial Aid (federal, state and institutional), professional judgment, verification, and other financial aid dynamics helping a professional understand the financial office side of the desk. Attached to this message is the agenda of the day.
This training is recommended for anyone that will provide hands on guidance of applicants applying for financial aid. Materials from the day will be provided. Trainers and advisors attending this session will be from various financial aid offices around PA. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
