Community Fellows AmeriCorps Program
Posted by on November 21, 2010
In partnership with PennSERVE, the Governor’s Office on Citizen Service, Pennsylvania Campus Compact (PACC) is pleased to announce the opening of the January Enrollment period for the AmeriCorps Community Fellows Program. At the current time, Pennsylvania Campus Compact still has 250 part-time 300-hour AmeriCorps slots to grant to member and non-member institutions. These AmeriCorps Community Fellows will start their service on February 1, 2011 and complete their service on August 19, 2011. Please note that this will provide students with less than seven (7) months to complete 300 hours of service. These positions are ideal for students who will be serving a significant number of hours in the spring semester and/or will be serving in summer programs.
For campuses that are already a part of the AmeriCorps Community Fellows program, simply email your additional slot request to Meghan Oakley-Henning at moakley@paccompact.org as soon as possible, but no later than November 30, 2010.
For campuses that are not currently a part of the AmeriCorps Community Fellows program, please review the program materials located on our website, including the Program Overview and Requirements, complete the application, and return it to Meghan Oakley-Henning via email by November 30, 2010.

Requests from both current and new campuses will be approved on a rolling basis and Campus Administrators will be emailed enrollment packets for members to complete. Please note that our enrollment packets will be changing, so please be sure to use the up-to-date forms.
Complete member packets will be due to the PACC office no later than January 18, 2011. Incomplete or late packets will not be accepted. Unlike in the fall, this member enrollment period is not rolling. Any packets received after January 18, 2011 will not be accepted.
Please contact moakley@paccompact.org or 717-460-6333 if you have any questions.
