Posted by on November 21, 2010
WorldLink and the Center for Ecoliteracy are proud to announce the release of the Nourish Middle School Curriculum Guide. This food literacy curriculum invites teachers and students to explore the thought-provoking question: “What’s the story of our food?”

The standards-aligned curriculum, a companion to the Nourish PBS special available on DVD, contains a viewing guide, six learning activities, action projects, and suggested resources designed to engage students in a meaningful conversation about food and sustainability. It is appropriate for science, health, social studies, garden education, or English classes.
We invite you to announce this curriculum release through your newsletter, blog, and social media. Please share this exciting news with colleagues, organizations, and educators who will make use of these free resources. We’d love to hear your feedback!
The Nourish film is one part of a multi-year, national initiative designed to open a meaningful conversation about food and sustainability. Educators are invited to sign up at http://nourishlife.org/curriculum.html to join the Nourish network and receive updates on free teaching resources.
