Learn how you can join our tremendous city-wide effort to:
* Refunds: As a Tax Preparer you will work one-on-one with customers to electronically file tax returns and connect families to the Earned Income Tax Credit and the Child Tax Credit. Volunteering once a week for the entire tax season can produce more than $60,000 in tax refunds!
* Benefits: As a Resource Builder you will work one-on-one with customers to complete online applications for public benefits such as food stamps, utility assistance, educational funding and free or low cost health insurance.
* Assets: Help families hold on to their money by opening affordable financial products.
No experience necessary; all training provided. There are many ways that you can help at the tax sites: greeting customers, organizing paperwork and folders, completing tax returns electronically, filling out applications for benefits such as food stamps, and other administrative tasks.
