New Early Childhood Education website

Website features resources for ECE professionals
The field of early childhood education is going through a significant professional growth spurt, while simultaneously requiring an increase in the level of credentials, an understanding of multiple layers of accountability, adoption of new systems and procedures, and a global awareness of research and legislative activity.
Raising the standards of excellence in the education of young children requires staying current with evidence based practice and state/national advocacy.
To help ECE professionals who have limited time and resources, ecedirectors.com was launched in August to help them keep up with the fast growing volume of important information.
The website is a quick ‘go-to’ place for new and experienced ECE providers and administrators, faculty, consultants, policymakers, grant writers, and supporters who want to bring ECE programs to their highest level of quality, stay informed at the state and national level, and network with others in the field. It is a membership fee-supported website providing information in over 40 categories, including over 500 direct links, with many more under development.
