Laurel House offers DV training for medical sites
Each October, Laurel House, a domestic violence service provider in Montgomery County, and Lankenau Hospital, a Main Line Health facility, cosponsor a workshop entitled Addressing Domestic Violence in the Health Care Setting.
This year’s workshop will take place on Friday, October 22nd. The workshop is geared toward health care and social service providers but all are welcome.
The workshop will include a presentation Lankenau neurologist who specializes in chronic head ache and facial pain, Elliott Schulman, MD, who will discuss refractory pain, a common problem suffered by those in long standing abusive relationships.
