Promise Neighborhoods

Community leaders and advocates across America have been waiting for the day when the Obama Administration would kick-start the much-anticipated federal Promise Neighborhoods program.

Today’s the day – and the Promise Neighborhoods Institute at PolicyLink is here to help.

Today, the U.S. Department of Education announced the Promise Neighborhoods federal application for up to twenty $400,000 – $500,000 competitive planning grants to help urban, rural, and tribal communities design a Promise Neighborhoods pipeline of programs to support children from birth through college. Applications will be due June 25.
