Youth Transition Funders Group Releases Issue Brief on Effective Policy Solutions for Vulnerable Youth
A new issue brief developed by the Youth Transition Funders Group (YTFG) outlines policy solutions for addressing the needs of vulnerable youth. The policy brief offers recommendations on how to help youth who are at various transition points that threaten their ability to be connected by age 25 to institutions and support systems that will help them succeed throughout life. These youth include: struggling students, pregnant and parenting teens, youth in foster care, and youth involved with juvenile corrections. The brief also highlights the role of the philanthropic community in supporting effective policy solutions.
