Qualifications
At a minimum, a high school diploma or a general educational development certificate, some childhood education/development classes, and two (2) years experience with children.
Skill Requirements
– Strong communication and people skills
– Relate well to children
– Patience/ability to be flexible
– Basic computer competency
Work Schedule
Part Time; regular schedule is weekdays, 20-40 hours per week (depending on season), some weekends
Responsibilities
– Program planning
– Direct program leadership
– Supervision of facility and youth for drop-in program
– Maintain records for client data and evaluation
– Maintain equipment and program supplies
– Special projects as assigned
