8:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
University of Pennsylvania
Meyerson Hall
34th & Walnut Streets
Philadelphia, PA

Earlier this year, WOMENS WAY released “A Change of Pace: Accelerating Women?s Progress”, an in-depth report on the socio-economic status of women in our region. The illuminating research and disturbing statistics behind this report made it clear that a public forum was necessary to address the lack of representation of women in key leadership roles in our region and to foster an environment of equality in politics and in the workplace. Women & Influence is a FREE half-day conference consisting of workshops and a keynote address designed to do just that.

Workshop presenters representing a variety of political and professional backgrounds will lead discussions relating to targeted workshop topics. Each conference participant will be invited to participate in two workshops. The overall goal of this conference is to challenge women to participate actively in a variety of community and workplace settings in order to accelerate the pace of progress for themselves and all women. Workshop titles are listed below.

Play a role in stepping up the pace of progress for all women by joining WOMENS WAY and scores of interesting and influential women of all ages at the November 15th Women and Influence conference. The conference is FREE, but you MUST register in advance using the enclosed conference registration form. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

WOMENS WAY raises funds and public awareness to fight for and achieve women?s equality, safety, self-sufficiency and reproductive freedom. For more information, please visit our website at http://www.womensway.org.

WOMENS WAY extends sincere thanks to our Presenting Sponsor, Citizens Bank Foundation, for generously underwriting the Women & Influence conference. Special thanks to WOMENS WAY’s research partner, the Alice Paul Center for Research on Women and Gender at the University of Pennsylvania, for its donation of facilities.
