White Dog Cafe’s 10th annual Housing & Community Development Brunch Talk with Deborah McColloch, Dennis Culhane and Cheri Honkala Deborah McColloch, director of the Office of Housing & Community Development, will describe her experiences ?in the trenches? of community development work. Dennis Culhane, researcher from the University of Pennsylvania, studies the impact of homelessness on the utilization of public health, corrections and social services. Cheri Honkala, Executive Director of the Kensington Welfare Rights Union, will discuss her experience organizing welfare recipients, the homeless and the working poor. The brunch is $15 per person, incl. tax & gratuity. Reservations with advance payment required by giving a credit card number over the phone or sending a check. (215) 386-9224.
