Webinar: Building School Support for Afterschool

The Pennsylvania Department of Education, in cooperation with the Center for Schools and Communities, will provide a live, online session entitled, “Building School Support for Afterschool: Marketing and Collaborating with Schools and Communities” on Thursday, March 26, 2009 from 10:00 AM until 11:30 PM. Pre-registration is required.
This live, online session will assist you with building connections between your afterschool program and the school(s) that you work with. Lorri Bland and Malinda Bostick, from Erie School District’s CHAMPS Afterschool Program will highlight tools and techniques to make your Principal a “Champion for Afterschool” and inspire your teachers to work cooperatively with your staff, all in the best interest of helping your students reach their fullest potential. Join this online session to learn about Rossi’s Intervention model for academic and behavioral data and how an evaluation plan can enhance your program’s effectiveness.
