VotePlz Million Dollar National Sweepstakes

Posted by VotePlz on October 3, 2016

As you know, voter registration is an essential step in being able to vote. A nonprofit called VotePlz just launched a Million Dollar National Sweepstakes to encourage you and your friends to check your registration status, and we thought you’d be interested.

If you’d like to sign up, and engage your friends, for every person that checks their registration on VotePlz.org using your unique referral link, you’ll gain one entry into the VotePlz sweepstakes (25 entry limit). You can share your referral link on any social network, via email, or on a campus bulletin board. The sweepstakes is open until November 2, although registration deadlines in many states are sooner (you can check here for deadlines and voting rules). Find further details at http://www.VotePlz.org/sweepstakes. Prizes are as follows:

● Grand Prize (20 winners):
o Up to $50,000 in student loan debt forgiveness, up to $50,000 in scholarships OR $25,000 in cash
● Second Prize (2,000 winners):
o $20 prepaid gift card

VotePlz is a nonprofit, nonpartisan registration initiative meant to engage millennial voters through software and new online-first channels. We have a website and iPhone app meant to make voter registration easier than calling an Uber. We offer tools for users to check their registration, register to vote, and request absentee ballots, as well as a voting guide. We realize that in 2016, many students don’t have stamps or envelopes, so once you or your friends fill out the form and register, VotePlz offers free postage-paid PDFs you can print out to mail in registration in states that require it. And you might just end up with a year of your college free or your college debt paid off. For more information visit https://www.voteplz.org or email hello@voteplz.org.
