If you’re looking for service hours, volunteer experience or just a great way to help a North Philadelphia community of kids and families, then join us on August 20th as we build a playground at Eugenio Maria de Hostos Charter School! This project is a collaboration between the well-known nonprofit KaBOOM!, funding partner Foresters Financial and ASPIRA of Pennsylvania Schools. Countless studies have shown the incredible benefits of play and exercise for students — and because this campus is the location for two ASPIRA Schools and a high-population preschool program serving low-income families — the playground will benefit thousands of kids for years to come.
