volunteers needed, College Signing Day

The School District of Philadelphia is in the mist of organizing the first ever “College Signing Day” on Friday May 1st, 2015. St. Joseph’s University will host the event in the Hagan Arena.This pep rally will invite up to 3500 college bound Philadelphia High School seniors to an event to recognize their achievements.
100 volunteers are needed to help escort students in and out of arena, direct seating and help with lunch distribution.
Currently the time frame for the event looks like this:
· 10 am – 11am Student drop off and registration,
· 11 am – 11:30am Welcome/opening remarks
· 11:30 am – 12:30 pm Rally and Keynote speaker,
· 12:30 pm – 1 pm Student dismissal
All volunteers will receive lunch and United Way t-shirt for their service. While we prefer volunteers in groups of 10+ we will take smaller groups as well. Volunteers can register here:
