Greater Philly Environmental Network (GPEN.org) Seeks Virtual Volunteer Coordinator – On Your Own Schedule
GPEN.org, a nonprofit directory publishing “All Things Environmental” in Greater Philadelphia, seeks a volunteer Volunteer Coordinator for approximately 5 hours/week to coordinate data inputs (Organizations, News, Events, Jobs, Volunteer opportunities) by other volunteers. Everyone is “virtual”, working by internet on their own schedule. Coordinator will handle assigning data sources to volunteers for posting, and managing their participation. Tasks include: screening new volunteers; research or oversee the compiling of lists of organizations from web/email/print sources and local organizations, and email lists and newsletters; assign and track sources for each volunteer to avoid duplication.
