The World Congress of Criminology has set aside 3 days for special attention to restoring safe school communities and responding to bullying, violence and alienation.

School officials, administrators and teachers are welcome to attend and participate.

? Attend a SCHOOL VIOLENCE PREVENTION WORKSHOP with Dr. Myrna Shure and Curry Bailey of the Philadelphia School District. This methods workshop will demonstrate a unique, problem solving approach to violence and drug-abuse prevention from the perspectives of both research and practice.

Approaches include restorative practices, peer mediation, active listening, and circle time. See how to put these programs and practices together to develop a comprehensive approach.
