PRE-K TEACHER/ESL/READING SPECIALIST K TO 3 – Full Time -(Norristown)
The pre-k/ESL/reading specialist will be the primary instructor for the pre-k class in the family literacy program, as well as the lead teacher in the after school program for kindergarten through 3rd grade students. She/he will provide basic case management services to parents as needed. The pre-k/ESL/reading specialist will be able to teach ESL classes to children and/or adults. The ideal candidate for this position will be highly organized, flexible and patient with students. It is also expected that this candidate will be able to communicate effectively with ACLAMO staff, volunteers and students.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
 A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education OR
o A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 1 year of experience teaching children OR
o An associate degree in early childhood education and 2 years of experience teaching children
 Fluent in Spanish and English preferred

ACADEMIC ADVISOR – Part time Monday through Thursday 2 pm to 6:00 pm and Saturdays 9:00 am to 1:00 pm – 20 hours. Academic Year. (Norristown)
The academic advisor serves in a critical role to assist students in their academic growth and development by constructing meaningful educational plans which are compatible with each student’s life goals. The academic advisor will served as a liaison between students/parents, ACLAMO and the school district. She/he will provide the students with information and assistance to navigate the educational system and to make appropriate decisions around it. The academic advisor will lead the high school ADELANTE program. The ideal candidate will be a strong written and verbal communicator, experienced in education, and proactive with solutions and adjustments.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
 A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in education, human services or any related field, OR
o A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in education, human services or any related field and 1 year of experience teaching students OR
o An associate degree in the above categories and 2 years of experience teaching children
 Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)

TEACHER ASSISTANT – Part time Monday through Thursday 3 pm to 6:00 pm. Academic Year. (Norristown)
The teacher’s assistant is responsible for supporting a lead teacher and may be asked to provide small group or whole class instruction, as needed. The teacher’s assistant will also supervise students, organize and prepare materials for class and work with members of the staff. The ideal candidate will be flexible, proactive, well organized and adept at working in a team and individually.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
 An associate degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, education or any related field OR
o A high school diploma and 1 year of experience in the field of education
 Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)

TEACHER ASSISTANT/CUSTOMER SERVICE – Part time Monday through Thursday 3 pm to 6:00 pm. Academic Year. (Norristown)
The teacher assistant/customer service worker greets and interacts with parents and children as they enter or exit the building. She/he will help us provide a safe environment for our children. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the highest level of customer service. The teacher assistant/customer service worker will operate the front desk, ACLAMO’s main phone line, attendance computer and front doors. As needed she/he will support the teachers and may be asked to provide small group or whole class instruction, as needed. The ideal candidate will be cordial, flexible, proactive, well organized and adept at working in a team and individually.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
 A high school diploma and 1 year of experience in the field of education
 Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).

CARE COORDINATOR (Bi-Lingual) – Full time (Montgomery County)
The Children’s Crisis Treatment Center (CCTC) is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) care coordinator for a unique collaboration between CCTC and ACLAMO. This position will work within ACLAMO’s facilities in Norristown and Pottstown. The care coordinator will collaborate with ACLAMO staff, and support and follow through with treatment team recommendations in a fast-paced environment. In a trauma-informed manner, the coordinator will be required to meet the needs of children ages 2.5 yrs to 21yrs and their families, who present crisis and behavioral health issues.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
 Bachelor degree in Social Work, Social Science or Bachelor of Arts degree from an accredited educational institution and either a minimum of one (1) year case management or direct care mental health experience with children and families; or
 Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent degree and either a minimum of one (1) year case management or counseling experience with children and families.
 Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
