various Income Tax Assistance positions, Delaware

Various positions available at VITA tax sites in Delaware.  Interviews for tax season 2008-2009 are being held now.  Many positions throughout the state are available!

* Tax Site Manager needed to manage busy tax site, ensure the overall accuracy of tax returns prepared and e-filed at the site and ensure a quality experience for the customers and volunteers working at the site.  BA/BS Accounting or related field preferred; 3-5 years relevant tax experience; supervisory experience; proficiency in the preparation of basic to advanced level returns.

·         Tax Site Assistant needed to support Tax Site Manager at busy tax site; ensure the overall accuracy of tax returns prepared and e-filed at the site and ensure a quality experience for the customers and volunteers working at the site.  BA/BS Accounting or related field preferred; 1-2 years relevant tax experience; proficiency in the preparation of basic to intermediate level returns.

·         Senior Tax Specialist needed to support Tax Site Manager at busy tax site; responsible for coordinating and organizing electronic filing aspect of tax preparation.  BA/BS Accounting or related field preferred; 2-4 years relevant tax experience; proficiency in the preparation of basic to intermediate level returns.

·         Site Associate needed to support Tax Site Manager at busy tax site; responsible for clerical and customer service duties including providing information on and promoting other financial resources and services available at the tax site.  High School Diploma or completion of GED; 2-3 years relevant clerical or administrative experience.
