Is your zip code linked to your destiny? Studies show that predictions of academic proficiency, progress and success are often linked to a student’s demographics, including the zip code of their home address. During this interactive webinar, presenters from Project GRAD Knoxville will walk participants through practical strategies designed to “un-zip” zip codes through technology resources and data while shedding insight on some of the obstacles that impede success resulting from a student’s demographics. Participants will learn about nationally-available resources for creating community fast facts from specific zip codes.
