Please pass this information along to any community service groups in your school.

True Hero, Inc. is non-profit organization rewarding students and schools for doing good work in their communities. If there is a club, group or organization in your school that is doing community service work, check out http://www.truehero.org to post information about the service project. A total of $15,000 will be given away June 30, 2014 to help fund these projects at the high school and collegiate levels. Truehero.org is the *fastest* growing showcase for community service projects on the internet. We are a non-profit organization whose mission is to “Shine a Bright Light” on student service, and on the schools and sponsors that support these heroic efforts.

To help support your service project(s), just follow these steps:

1) Go to http://www.truehero.org and post a project…all you need is a short paragraph/description of the project.

2) GET VOTES for your service project…get the information out to all your friends, family, faculty, students and parents and encourage them to vote for your project via email, social media, etc.

3) Come June 30th, 13 grants will be given away in each of the following categories: High School, College/University, Community Organization & YouTube Video

The awards are granted to those student community service projects receiving the most eligible votes from the general public during the current school year. If you have any questions, or if I can be of any assistance in getting your project posted, please contact Amanda at 440.442.5683. Please visit http://www.truehero.org to see how it easy and fun it is to participate and spread the word about your meaningful work. Also, please pass this information onto to any students or advisors who may oversee service activities in your school. Thanks…and good luck!
