DEADLINE NOTE
The sponsor has indicated that the next deadline for concept papers is January 14, 2005. Full proposals are submitted by invitation only.

OBJECTIVES:
The sponsor has chosen to focus its grant program on two areas: Volunteerism and Environmental Responsibility.

Volunteerism: To support the time and energy commitment of individuals, the sponsor supports a wide variety of organizations whose programs teach, lead and empower youth to serve their communities whose service ethos addresses community needs, and seeks to improve the quality of life of its members by harnessing the collective strength of volunteers who seek to engage team members in service.

Environmental Responsibility: The sponsor is committed to supporting organizations that are actively engaged with the ecosystem and that work to increase the understanding of environmental sustainability; primarily those organizations whose innovative practices support the exploration and development of alternative energy resources.

ELIGIBILITY
Eligible applicants are qualified 501(c)(3) or approved tax-exempt organizations. Priority is given to organizations in communities where the sponsor’s employees live, work and do business.
