Teacher Wellness Institute
August 4th – 7th, 9:00am – 12:00pm
Join an intimate community of teachers as we spend time exploring what makes teaching sustainable and meaningful for you. Balancing a deep examination of classroom practice & pedagogy, as well as delving in to what personal habits will make teaching joyful and realistic for you, we will spend half-days together from Monday – Thursday workshopping the following topics:
- Classroom design: using your space as a co-teacher
- Grading & planning practices to keep you sane
- Wellness practices that support you as a teacher
- What you feel passionate about as a practitioner of your discipline
Participants will leave with concrete plans for the 2014-2015 school year to support their practice within & outside of the classroom.
Space is limited to 12 participants.
