Summer Camp Program Staff (Various Positions)

Posted by The College Settlement of Philadelphia on May 4, 2021

As one of the longest running non-profit summer camps in the region, our summer jobs are a great way to gain great experience in youth development and education, expand your own skill set and join a team where staff members are valued as the heart and soul of what we do.

We look for folks who can make good judgement calls, are hard working, self motivated, flexible, enthusiastic and prepared to dive into any and all activities that we offer.   We recruit staff who will be positive role models, who are patient, compassionate and genuinely committed to the welfare and development of young people!

Our ideal staff members exhibit enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, integrity, self-motivation and adaptability.  They are collaborative, spontaneous, willing to be goofy but also have a good head on their shoulders! Our staff members treat others with respect, and work though the tougher moments treating everyone with dignity and grace.

PROJECTED DATES: Staff orientation and camp sessions run between June 7th (specialized training) or June 14 (counselor training) though August and 13th 2021. Lifeguard and High Ropes training sessions offered. Full job descriptions can be provided by emailing programs@Collegesettlement.org.

We have residential (live at camp) and day only (live at home) positions for each of the following positions.  ALL staff members share counselor duties when not running their specific program activities.
