Training set for special education advocates
The Arc of Philadelphia is sponsoring a 12-session special education advocacy training for parents, service providers, advocates, educators, lawyers, and therapists will be held from November through next May.
Dr. Marie C. Lewis, R.N., Ph.D. is the featured speaker. Dr. Lewis is the Executive Director of the National Center for Autism Resources and Education, and is on the Faculty of the National Special Education Advocacy Institute, NSEAI which offers the BCEA.
The sessions are open to anyone interested in disability issues: parents, advocates, educators, lawyers, clinicians, social workers, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, psychologists, and others.
