RWJF Issues RFP for Solutions to Social Isolation

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation has issued a Request for Proposals for the best ideas from around the world that address social isolation and promote positive, healthy social connections and well-being.

To that end, the foundation is looking for applicants who represent organizations from a wide range of fields and disciplines — both within and outside the health sector. Proposals are encouraged from both U.S.-based applicants looking to adapt an overseas idea, and from international applicants with ideas that could work in the United States. The foundation also encourages submissions from teams that include both U.S. and international members.

Proposals must fit with the topic and populations described, integrate global ideas into the project, and highlight the connections to the Culture of Health Action Framework.

Up to $2.5 million in grants will be available through this funding opportunity.

RWJF will host an informational webinar for prospective applicants on November 9, 2017, at 1:00 p.m.

See the RWJF website for complete program guidelines and proposal submission instructions.

Deadline: December 21, 2017
