PROJECT TITLE: Philadelphia Opportunities Industrialization Center, Inc. 21st After School program


SUPERVISOR: President & C.EO.

Oversee the coordination and daily management of the educational activities at the H. A. Brown school-based site and provide appropriate family support.

? Develop and oversee after school curricula and activities for school based programs including:
o Monitoring of lesson plans
o Arrange for guest presenters injunction with school personnel
o Plan cultural exposure trips
o Develop of School clubs
o Complete supply orders.
o Communicate with families
? Serve as an after School Coordinator for the site by conducting after school activities at this program site from 3:00 pm ? 6:00 pm, five days a week and professional development and early dismissal days.
? Serve as primary linkage to the other CBOs
? Identify, contact and arrange for guest presenters and extracurricular activities
? Serve as the liaison to school personnel at project site and community providers
? Complete program reports
? Ensure the maintenance of database for all program attendees.
? Attend required training sessions
? Provide bilingual (Spanish-English) support activities for parents and students
? Develop site materials (newsletter, invitations, etc.) for the project
? Ensure compliance with all applicable guidelines and regulations

? Minimum bachelor?s degree in education, social work, or related field.
? At least three years of educational school experience working with children and their families.
? Ability to conduct group sessions and lead structured lessons with children who have behavioral health problems.
? An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
? Demonstrated ability to develop educational materials
