On December 7, the Pennsylvania Hunger Action Center released its annual School Breakfast Report Card evaluating how effectively Pennsylvania school districts are using the federal School Breakfast Program.
Hunger Action, Just Harvest, the Greater Philadelphia Coalition Against Hunger and nearly twenty other organizations are calling on Governor Rendell to include a school breakfast initiative in his plans for 2007. To join that call, contact Hunger Action.
To review the Report Card, go to Hunger Action?s website; a link is posted at the end of the Associated Press story. To review a comprehensive summary of all school districts, go to http://www.pahunger.org/html/news/SBPReport05-06.pdf
