The Price of Being a Woman
This report from the Maternity Care Coalition compares insurance options in cities across Pennsylvania and demonstrates that women face significant barriers and discriminatory practices when buying health insurance in the individual insurance market.
The study revealed that individual market health plans largely exclude vital maternity coverage for women.
