Register for National Youth Service Day

Hi everyone,
National Youth Service Day(s) is planned for April 16-18 this year, with the theme “Hands of Peace: Strengthening Communities.” Attached is some information about this day and the theme.
In Philadelphia, NYSD is again being organized by Education Works. They are currently registering projects. The registration form is due by March 15. You can get a registration form by contacting Craig Heim at Education Works at cheim@educationworks-online.org
Additionally, awards will be given to recognize young people who have shown commitment to peaceful, constructive resolution of problems. Each organization participating in NYSD is invited to submit an application for a youth participant. Applications are due March 19. Individuals will be recognized with a certificate and a small gift on National Youth Service Day.
