POSITION DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Recruitment and Outreach Specialist/Instructor
Organization: To Our Children’s Future With Health
Reports to: Director, Safe Haven Teen/Pre-teen Program

Duties:

? Develop and implement plan to meet and maintain recruitment objectives of the program.
? Ability to instruct youth ages 9-13 in provided curricula.
? Assist parents/guardians with completion of application process.
? Take primary responsibility to collect needed data such as report cards, health assessment forms, attendance, etc.
? Assist with program development responsibilities.
? Network to build positive relationships within the local and funding communities.
? Attend meetings, trainings, and events as scheduled by the community, funders, and To Our Children?s Future With Health.
? Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

? Bachelor?s degree preferred.
? Strong interpersonal skills.
? Experience working with diverse populations.
? Strong organizational/task management skills.
? Exceptional computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Exel.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
? Experience in program development.
? Experience in community outreach and program marketing.

To Our Children?s Future With Health, a non-profit agency serving families in the Haddington section of Philadelphia is seeking an energetic, creative and flexible person to do community outreach and recruitment for an after-school program targeting pre-teens 9-13 years of age.
