Job description
Summary of Position

The Quality Control Manager oversees the implementation of Families and Schools Together (FAST) in selected schools in compliance with the contract with the Philadelphia Department of Human Services and FAST National, Inc. This includes developing and maintaining effective working relationships with school administrators and ensuring quality service delivery by promoting Quality Improvement activities in FAST and agency wide.

Specific Job Responsibilities included, but not limited to:

  • Ensures program integrity to the FAST National model and to TPFC’s Performance Quality Improvement, which includes pre-FAST planning and training in assigned schools.
  • Directly supervises two to three Agency Partners and evaluates their performance annually.
  • Monitors program quality and effectiveness for 6 plus school teams and takes corrective action ensuring program integrity of the FAST model.
  • Oversees the collection and maintenance of program information, including FAST Inc., DHS and other funders, and agency.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work or other related field
  • Experience in managing or leading a team
  • Current Pennsylvania Child Abuse Record Check, a Pennsylvania State Police criminal record check, and a FBI criminal record check.
  • General knowledge of social work or related field with emphasis on family systems/theory and family support systems; knowledge of child welfare with focus on children and adolescents; and knowledge of school-based programs for at-risk children.
  • Supervisory skills; sets and models performance expectations; appropriately delegates and monitors work, provides timely and constructive performance feedback, and recognizes results and contributions.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills; able to speak and write clearly and to prepare written information, correspondence, reports, etc., accurately, on-time, and in standard business format; diplomatic skills, including the ability to facilitate meetings and discussions in a manner which promotes open, respectful and inclusive dialogue.
  • Superior interpersonal skills; astute at establishing effective relationships, credibility and rapport with a diverse range of people and cultural and socioeconomic groups.
