The Bridge Way School is Philadelphia’s only recovery high school for students who have been treated for substance use disorder and are now working a recovery program (http://www.thebridgewayschool.org). Bridge Way has an immediate opening for a part-time physical education/life skills teacher.
Part-time physical education and health/life skills teacher
The successful candidate will have experience teaching individual and team skills and a demonstrated ability to engage students of interest in physical activity. As a health/life skills teacher, this candidate will develop a curriculum that fosters wellness and encourages students to practice making healthy choices. The position is a 10 month position. All PA and FBI clearances necessary.
