The PHENND Sustainability Coordinator will coordinate the student engagement arm of the Green STEM Philly initiative. The PHENND Sustainability Coordinator will recruit up to 11 college student project assistants, one for each partner high school identified by the larger Green STEM Philly initiative. The Coordinator will provide indirect supervision to the students, facilitate their payroll, and organize ongoing training in partnership with project leadership. In Summer 2022, the Coordinator will work to identify Green STEM internship positions for 20 high school students, facilitate their payroll, and also support internship host sites. The PHENND Sustainability Coordinator will work also with various PHENND constituencies to build, sustain, and support a sustainability themed network. This will include monthly generation and distribution of a Sustainability newsletter, and playing a supporting role in periodic Sustainability-focused PHENND events.
