Conference Overview

WHAT: The ?Promoting Tax Benefits for Working Families? Conference will help you increase your knowledge, abilities, and connections with others to promote and carry out EITC outreach, free tax preparation, and asset-building services. These services can be powerful tools for economic empowerment and development for low-and moderate-income families, individuals, and communities.

The Conference will provide approaches, tools, and materials for providing free tax preparation, related asset-building, and EITC outreach services; will provide opportunities for networking and building collaboration; and will present updates on tax policies and strategies for improving tax policies for our clients and communities.

WHEN: Conference and Workshops
June 18, 2003, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Outdoor Reception and Jazz Band
June 18, 2003, 5:15 p.m. ? 7:00 p.m.

COST: $50 per person for representatives of non-profit institutions and city and state governments

$100 per person for representatives of for-profit institutions and the federal government

Includes continental breakfast and lunch June 18 and 19.
