Job Title: Project Manager

Reports to: Senior Director

Job Summary: Provides project management support for HCIF programs. Tracks grant and contract requirements and timelines, assures completion of deliverables, and establishes and maintains relationships with project participants. Conducts qualitative and quantitative improvement programs, coordinates and tracks data collection, and prepares project reports, presentations and analyses. Provides project management support for committees, conferences, webinars, project team meetings, and other events.

Main Duties:
• Under general direction of HCIF Senior Director(s), provides project management, data and analytical support to advance HCIF initiatives in community health and quality improvement.

• Monitors grant and project timelines, tracks progress against goals, completes action items and conducts follow-up with project partners to ensure projects meet objectives and deliverables. Maintains regular communication and correspondence with project participants. Drafts documents, forms, agreements, and other written materials.

• Assists senior staff in organizing and supporting meetings, conferences, webinars, and other events. Identifies potential faculty, prepares agenda, compiles presentation material, and completes documentation for continuing education credits if needed. Keeps minutes and takes notes on behalf of project team.

• Delivers formal internal and external presentations as requested. Tailors presentations based on level and knowledge base of audience, including interpretation of complex data for non-clinical audiences.

• Applying sound methodology, develops and implements surveys, data collection forms, data reports, online information resources, and other project management tools.

• Coordinates data collection processes for individual projects. In collaboration with database contractors, maintains project databases and monitors periodic downloads to assure data integrity. Interfaces with participants as needed to address data entry questions and assure timely data submission.

• Creates survey instruments and distributes participant surveys; organizes and conducts follow-up to assure good response rates; assesses responses for consistency and follow up to get explanations and corrections; performs data entry and carries out other aspects of production of research studies as needed.

• Summarizes and analyzes project data at periodic intervals and at the close of each project. Tracks key findings and applies statistical testing to measure significance and validity of results. Prepares graphs, narrative reports and presentations as needed to display results.

• Identifies and monitors public quality databases and other external information sources. Conducts research on healthcare related issues as assigned. Stays current with healthcare websites and publications.

• Manages related project assignments as requested, in coordination with HCIF staff, project participants, external clients, expert faculty, subcontractors and vendors.
