POSITION: PROGRAM MANAGER, DCS
DEPARTMENT: DVAEYC COMPUTING SOLUTIONS
REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Delaware Valley Association for the Education of Young Children (DVAEYC), a nonprofit, member organization that provides resources, support and advocacy in the early childhood education community on behalf of young children, birth through eight, is seeking a qualified Program Manager to assume responsibility for DVAEYC Computing Solutions a key program which provides comprehensive, affordable technology technical assistance and training to early childhood practitioners and programs in the Philadelphia Metropolitan area. The DCS Program Manager will manage day-to-day operations, supervise IT staff, craft and implement solutions and grow client base within a defined strategy.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Manage and expand DVAEYC Computing Solutions (DCS)-an affordable, fee-for-service offering, consisting of technology needs assessment, solution planning and implementation, web and graphic design and development, curriculum integration, onsite support and training.
? Define and manage client projects with clear task assignments, timeline and milestones
? Develop and manage Customer Relationship Management system to ensure prompt follow up, professional proposal generation, reliable customer support, accurate invoicing and service continuation
? Administer DVAEYC?s internal IT infrastructure (network, hard/software, website, email)
? Recruit, manage and support qualified IT professionals who perform DCS/DVAEYC services
? Promote DCS services to early childhood and non-profit community through print and email marketing and live exhibitions
? Research and procure affordable hardware, software and services for clients and agency
? Foster collaborative relationships with technology organizations and companies
? Generate client and funder reports
? Assist with funding proposals
? Construct and monitor program budget
? Assist with other related duties as assigned by the Director of Programs.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
? Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, major IT certification (MCP, CCNP, A+) or equivalent experience required.
? 5-7 years of successful, technology-focused service delivery, program, project and contract management, and business development experience with 3-5 years of people management.
? Must be detailed-oriented, able to prioritize projects, meet deadlines and provide accurate and timely reporting.
? Must be able to work collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external clients, including staff, early childhood programs, non-profit agencies, academic institutions and businesses.
? Must be able to travel throughout the five-county greater Philadelphia region using own vehicle (mileage will be reimbursed)
? Experience developing and successfully managing program budgets.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
? Proficient to expert in most mainstream business technology (Microsoft OS and Office, Mac OS, Network protocols and security, software and web applications, Wireless, PDAs)
? Knowledgeable of web and graphic design and development.
? Experience using CRM or related customer support applications
? M-F 40 hrs/wk. Some evenings and weekends required based on client and organizational needs.
