GIRL SCOUTS OF EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA

POSITION TITLE: Program Implementer (Paid & Non-Paid Positions are available)
TERM: Flexible, based on semester requirements
REPORTS TO: Membership Manager/Special Initiatives
HOURS: 16 – 20 per week
LOCATION: Various schools and community centers in Bucks, Berks, Chester, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:
The Program Implementer serves as an essential part of the Membership Services unit in a specifically assigned community, either ethnic or geographic, and provides short-term programs to girls in the assigned community. The program topics range from sports-themed to self-esteem building. Training is provided for correct program implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Identify program needs of girls at assigned sites and communicate those needs to the Membership Manager responsible for that area.
? Conduct programs such as in-school, headstart, Girl Scouting Beyond Bars, etc., in assigned sites through flexible delivery initiatives. Ability to work with at-risk girls.
? Develop relationships with girls, parents and community site administrators to help build long term commitments to Girl Scouting.
? Work with Membership Manager to recruit additional girls and adults to provide on going programs in assigned area.
? Complete membership registration for participating girls and adults.

QUALIFICATIONS:
? Excellent interpersonal skills.
? Ability to develop resources and deliver program.
? Commitment to working with at-risk girls.
? Must provide own transportation
? Knowledge of or willingness to learn Girl Scout program, philosophy and structure of the organization.
? Spanish speaking skills optional.
